NOTICE OF ADOPTED AND FILED REGULATIONS OF
DEPARTMENT OF LABOR WORKFORCE AND DEVELOPMENT

On July 9th, Department of Labor Workforce & Development, Mechanical Inspection, adopted regulations in 8 AAC 63.010(a), 8 AAC 90.111, 8 AAC 90.112, 8 AAC 90.125, 8 AAC 90.140(d), 8 AAC 90.140(e), 8 AAC 90.145(d), 8 AAC 90.160(g), 8 AAC 90.165(e), 8 AAC 90.185(a), 8 AAC 90.185(c), 8 AAC 90.192(c), & 8 AAC 90.890. These regulations are for the certificate of fitness for journeyman electricians, and journeyman plumbers.

These regulations were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Office of the Lieutenant Governor on July 9th, and are effective on August 8th.

The regulation changes will first appear in Register 255, October 2025, of the Alaska Administrative Code.
