The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to extend Permit ADA-09349 (Lot 4, Block 700), consisting of approximately 6,034 square feet, at Homer Airport for an additional five (5) years. Applicant: Alaska Bear Safaris, LLC. Annual rent: $1,309.38 and any other associated fees. Authorized uses: Aeronautical - Placement of a 12’ x 24’ office building with a temporary 75’ walkway to a temporary floating 30’ dock and related parking in support of Permittee’s commercial Part 135 air taxi business.

Competing applications or written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., August 11, 2025, after which the Department will determine whether or not to extend the permit. The Department’s decision will be sent only to persons who submit written comment or objection or a competing application to the Department, at the address and by the date and time specified in this notice, and include their return address.
