PUBLIC NOTICE - PROPOSAL TO AMEND A LEASE OF LAND
AT FAIRBANKS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
In accordance with 17 AAC 42.400(a) – The following should be published: June 25, 2025 through July 25, 2025 (30-days) in the Alaska Online Public Notice System.
NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO SUPPLEMENT A LAND LEASE: The State of Alaska, Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), Fairbanks International Airport (Airport) proposes to extend the term of Land Lease ADA-03506, as follows: LESSEE: Alaska Airlines Inc. PREMISES: Block 2, Lots 4C and 7, consisting of approximately 243,600 square feet. LEASE TERM: Forty-five (45) years, beginning February 1, 1981 and ending February 1, 2026. CURRENT LEASE RENTAL RATE: The annual rent is $29,232.00 ($0.12 per square foot x 243,600 square feet). AUTHORIZED USES: Air cargo and GSE parking. PROPOSED TERM EXTENSION: 5-year term extension expiring February 1, 2031.
This is an application filed under AS 02.15.090(c), which allows the Department to grant the proposed lease term extension without competition.
