Release of the Copper River Basin Area Plan Issue Response Summary and
Open Public Comment Period

The Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Mining, Land & Water (DMLW) Resources Assessment and Development Section (RADS) recently completed our review of public comments submitted during the Copper River Basin Area Plan Public Review Draft phase of the plan revision.

The Issue Response Summary (IRS) is a summary of the comments received during the Copper River Basin Area Plan Public Review Draft comment period, our response to those comments, and where applicable, recommended revisions to the plan. You are invited to review the IRS and submit comments you may have regarding this plan revision.  The IRS comment period will be open from Friday June 6, 2025 through Monday July 7, 2025. You may review the IRS on our website by clicking or following the link below.  Comments can be submitted via our website portal, by email or by U.S. mail.  See comment instructions below.
