The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to change the authorized uses of Lease ADA-71748, Lots 5 & 5A, Block 303, consisting of approximately 190,000 square feet, at Deadhorse Airport to allow for the non-aeronautical use of a portion of the hanger on Lot 5, Block 303. Lease expires January 15, 2063. Applicant: Carlile Transportation Systems, Inc. Annual rent: $49,194.50 and any other associated fees. Authorized uses: aeronautical – operation of a hangar facility; operation of a terminal/office building for airline business; non-aeronautical – storing, staging, and loading of packaged and bulk lubricant products; parking.

This is an application filed under AS 02.15.090(c), which allows the Department to grant the proposed lease amendment without competition. Written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., July 7, 2025, after which the Department will determine whether or not to amend the lease.
