NOTICE OF WATER RIGHT APPLICATION

LAS 33925

 

Pursuant to AS 46.15.133 and 11 AAC 93.080, notice is hereby given that the Manley Hot Springs Village Council, P.O. Box 105, Manley Hot Springs, Alaska 99756 applied for a permit to appropriate water on January 19, 2022 (Priority Date). The application proposes the following:

 

The withdrawal of up to 5,800 gallons per day (gpd) from January 1st through December 31st each year from a drilled well located within Lot 1, Section 9, Township 2 North, Range 15W, F.M., Hot Springs Subdivision, Plat #97-1, Manley Recording District, Fourth Judicial District, State of Alaska.

 

The proposed purpose of use is radiant heating and irrigation in a greenhouse. 

 

The proposed place of use is Lot 1, Section 9, Township 2 North, Range 15W, F.M., Hot Springs Subdivision, Plat #97-1, Manley Recording District, Fourth Judicial District, State of Alaska and Lot 1, Section 9, Township 2 North, Range 15W, F.M., Resort Subdivision, Plat #85-1, Manley Recording District, Fourth Judicial District, State of Alaska.

Per AS 46.15.133 (a), within 15 days of publication or service of notice, persons may file with the director written objections. Comments or objections must be made in writing to the above listed address or to tina.mayer@alaska.gov by 5:00 p.m. within 15 days of receipt of this notice. Objections must include the objector’s name and address, and any facts tending to show that the rights of the objector or the public interest would be adversely affected by the proposed appropriation.
