INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for Fairbanks Youth Facility Safety & Security Modifications, Phase One Probation Unit Improvements, Project Number 25C2632604, will be received before 2:00 p.m., June 11, 2025 at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This state funded project will include all necessary construction services as required to complete interior renovation work at the Fairbanks Youth Facility at 1502 Wilbur Street in Fairbanks, Alaska.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $200,000 and $500,000. The Project substantial completion date will be September 30, 2025.

A non-mandatory pre-bid site visit will be held at 9:00am on Wednesday May 21, 2025 at the project location. Participants need to bring a valid photo ID. Please RSVP a minimum of 48 hours in advance with the project manager, Lauren Staft, at lauren.staft@alaska.gov or 907-451-5424.

Plans, Specs, Bid Packets and Addenda along with other additional information pertaining to the project may now be downloaded in their entirety at no charge from the Department’s approved online bidding service: https://www.bidx.com/ak/lettings. Bidding documents may also be purchased for $50.00 per set, payable to the State of Alaska, from the Central Region Plans Room, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:30 p.m. (907) 269-0408.
