RFP: AIP 3-02-0016-XXX-2025 / CFAPT01336 - ANC Airport Lighting Control System Resiliency Design-Build

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Proposals for ANC Airfield Lighting Control System Resiliency Design-Build, Project Number AIP 3-02-0016-XXX-2025 / CFAPT01336, will be received before 4:00 p.m., May 19, 2025 at the office of the Chief of Contracts, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This federally funded contract includes all necessary design and construction services as required to construct the installation of a flywheel energy uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system for the airfield lighting vault at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. Also included in the scope are updates to the lighting regulators.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $2,500,000 and $5,000,000. The Project substantial completion date will be October 30, 2026.

A non-mandatory site visit has been scheduled during the advertising period on Wednesday May 7, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. Meet in the North Terminal lobby near the polar bear display. The project site is in the secure area of the airport, so attendees will ride in an airport bus to the site. Attendees must bring a high visibility vest. Contact the Project Manager, Jesse Campbell, at jesse.campbell@alaska.gov a minimum of 48 hours prior to the site visit to attend.

Proposal documents may also be purchased for $100.00 per set, payable to the State of Alaska, from the Central Region Plans Room, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:30 p.m. (907) 269-0408.
