The Department of Health, Division of Behavioral Health, is requesting proposals from eligible applicants to implement suicide intervention and prevention programs within healthcare settings in their communities. This position will work with the State of Alaska to improve suicide care practices, which will include leading workplace culture changes committed to reducing suicides, training a confident and competent workforce, identifying individuals with suicide risk through comprehensive screening and assessment, engaging all individuals at risk of suicide using a safety plan, and treating and transitioning individuals through care using warm handoffs and supportive contacts.
