Notice of Cancelation
This is notice of the state's cancellation of solicitation 2525N125 Hot Mix Asphalt for Tazlina (Federally Funded). A bidder or offeror who wishes to protest this cancellation must file the protest within ten calendar days following the date this notice is issued. If the tenth day falls on a weekend of holiday, the last day of the protest period is the first working day following the tenth day.
EXPLANATION: The Department of Transportation & Public Facilities is cancelling ITB #2525N152 Hot Mix Asphalt for Tazlina (Federally Funded). This decision is based on the following criteria contained in State Procurement Regulations, Title 2 AAC 12.850:
2 AAC 12.850. Extension of solicitation opening time; cancellation of solicitation; amendment of solicitation..
(b) Before the opening of bids or proposals, a solicitation may be cancelled in whole or in part if the chief procurement officer or the head of a purchasing agency issuing a solicitation determines that cancellation is in the state's best interest. Reasons for cancellation include the following:
(3) proposed amendments to the solicitation would be of such magnitude that a new solicitation is desirable
The Department of Transportation & Public Facilities (DOT&PF), Division of Maintenance and Operations, is soliciting bids for Hot Mix Asphalt for Tazlina, AK.
Bids must be received no later than 10:00 am Alaska Time on May 15, 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened. Late bids or amendments will be considered non-responsive and will not be opened or accepted for evaluation. Faxed or oral proposals will not be accepted.
Copies of bid documents may be downloaded (Adobe Acrobat format) from this Online Public Notice website. If you download the solicitation, you must register with the Procurement Officer listed below to receive subsequent amendments. Failure to contact the Procurement Officer may result in the rejection of your offer.
