Notice of Utility Tariff Filings
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Anchorage Water and Wastewater Utility (AWWU) filed TA181-122 and TA182-126 for its water and sewer utilities, respectively, seeking approval of its Levy Upon Connection (LUC) assessment rates for 2024 construction. Under AWWU’s water and sewer tariff provisions, a parcel served by a water main or sewer line may be subject to an assessment at the LUC rate for the year of construction, multiplied by the total parcel benefited area. The proposed 2024 water LUC rate is $1.24515 per square foot, and the proposed 2024 sewer LUC rate is $2.42453 per square foot.
This notice does not contain all requested revisions, and the Commission may approve a rate or classification, which varies from that proposed.
