Amendment #4

The purpose of Amendment #4 is to:

- Answer a question concerning the submission of evidence of qualifications onsite personnel and clarification of the requirements of documents required at time of bid opening.

This Amendment is not a mandatory return amendment.

The purpose of Amendment #3 is to:

- Answer a question from an interested party clarifying the disposition of Contractor provided equipment    in the performance of the resulting contract.

Amendment #2

The purpose of Amendment #2 is to:

- Amend language to align with the Department of Public Safety requirements.

This Amendment is a Mandatory Return Amendment.

Amendment #1

The purpose of Amendment #1 is to:

- Provide answers to a question received

- Amend Section 2.01/Scope of Work/Services/Item 2 of ITB 2525S048

This Amendment is a Mandatory Return Amendment.

The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, Statewide Contracting and Procurement, is soliciting bids for unarmed security services in the Juneau core area.


Bids must be received no later than 2:00 pm Alaska Standard Time on May 12, 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened. Late bids or amendments will be considered non-responsive and will not be opened or accepted for evaluation. Faxed or oral proposals will not be accepted.

Bidders may submit bids either electronically or in hard copy.

If 
submitting via U.S. Mail or Courier Delivery Service, bidders must submit the original hard copy of their bid in writing to the procurement officer in a sealed package.

If submitting a bid via email, the bid may be emailed to dotstatewideprocurement@alaska.gov and must contain the ITB number in the subject line of the email. The maximum size of a single email (including all text and attachments) that can be received by the state is 20mb (megabytes). If the email containing the bid exceeds this size, the bid must be sent in multiple emails that are each less than 20 megabytes and each email must comply with the requirements described above.

Please note that email transmission is not instantaneous. Similar to sending a hard copy bid, if you are emailing your bid, the state recommends sending it enough ahead of time to ensure the email is delivered by the deadline for receipt of bid.

It is the bidder’s responsibility to contact the procurement officer, Dan Worsham, at 907-465-6949 to confirm that the bid has been received. The state is not responsible for unreadable, corrupt, or missing attachments.
