Notice of Utility Tariff Filing
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Middle Kuskokwim Electric Cooperative, Inc. (MKEC) filed TA171-343, its semi-annual cost of power adjustment (COPA), power cost equalization (PCE) and small facility power purchase rate (SFPPR) rate update for the period beginning April 1, 2025. The proposed COPA surcharge is increasing from $0.5704 per kWh to $0.8079 per kWh. The PCE level remains unchanged at the fiscal year 2025 statutory maximum of $0.7608 per kWh. The proposed SFPPR is increasing from $0.5155 per kWh to $0.6257 per kWh. The statutory notice period for TA171-343 ends May 27, 2025.
