On February 14, 2025, the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development adopted regulations changes in the following Titles and Chapters of the Alaska Administrative Code: Title 12, Chapter 05 concerning updating Acupuncture regulations; in Title 12, Chapter 30 concerning updating Dispensing Opticians regulations; in Title 12, Chapter 42 concerning updating Naturopaths regulations; in Title 12, Chapter 46 concerning updating Nursing Home Administrators regulations; in Title 12, Chapter 50 concerning updating Mortuary Science regulations; and in Title 12, Chapter 76 concerning updating Pawnbrokers regulations.

The regulation changes were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Office of the Lieutenant Governor on March 19, 2025, and are effective on April 18, 2025. See attached copy of the filed version of the regulations.

The regulation changes will first appear in Register 254, July 2025 of the Alaska Administrative Code.
