STATE OF ALASKA – DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION
Eklutna Inert Waste Monofill, Eagle River, Alaska

The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) proposes to issue Solid Waste Disposal Permit No. SWZA107-30, to Eklutna Land Services, LLC, to operate an inert waste monofill.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Eklutna Land Services, LLC has applied for a permit to construct and operate an inert waste monofill at 13950 Eklutna Park Drive in Eagle River, Alaska.  The monofill would accept inert construction and demolition material including windows, rebar, wood, masonry products and non-regulated asbestos containing material.  No chemically treated wood or polluted soils would be accepted at the monofill.  The monofill is projected to take in approximately 40,000 cubic yards of waste material annually.
