PURPOSE: The Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation, is soliciting proposals for a qualified entity to obtain a concession contract to operate and manage the Captain Cook State Recreation Area. The Captain Cook State Recreation Area is located near Nikiski Alaska on the Kenai Peninsula.
PRIOR EXPERIENCE AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
In order for offers to be considered responsive offerors must meet these prior experience and minimum requirements:
- Offeror must have previous experience operating campgrounds or similar outdoor recreation facilities whether public or private.
- Offeror must have demonstrated understanding and knowledge of Alaska State Park campgrounds.
- Offeror must have demonstrated capacity (financial and staff capacity) to operate at a remote location.
Offerors meeting these prior experience and minimum requirements must check the box on Attachment 2 Application Form.
Offerors must detail in their proposal how they meet the prior experience and minimum requirements above. Offerors that fail to identify in their proposals how they meet the prior experience, and minimum requirements will be deemed non-responsive.
