ITB 2025-1000-0222 Delta River West Phase 2 Fuels Reduction - DOF

ADDENDUM 1 
Addendum 1 has been issued to make changes to the ITB regarding project site access.

Addendum 2 has been issued to answer questions from interested parties. 


PURPOSE
The Department of Natural Resources, Division of Forestry & Fire Protection, is soliciting bids for the development of a fuel break approximately two miles west of Delta Junction, Alaska. This project is a critical component of wildfire prevention efforts, aimed at protecting the community and surrounding areas by reducing fuel loads in the region.
The scope of work includes creating a 300-foot-wide linear fuel break through "roller-chopping," which will crush and chop all brush, shrubs, and small trees within the designated area. The successful contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment, qualified operators, and arranging transportation and lodging to complete the project during the winter season.

BID SUBMITTAL
Bids must be received no later than 2:00 PM Alaska Time on JANUARY 8, 2025, via email to madelyn.lowe@alaska.gov, or mailed/hand delivered to DNR/DOF 101 Airport Rd. Palmer, AK 99645. Responses received after this date and time will be considered non-responsive and will be rejected.
