ADDENDUM 1
Addendum 1 serves to change the questions due date and to change the ITB due date. All other terms and conditions of the ITB shall remain the same.
PURPOSE OF THE ITB
The Department of Natural Resources, Division of Forestry & Fire Protection is soliciting bids for a qualified contractor to provide As-Needed Silviculture Services near Haines, Alaska. Silviculture practices include, but are not limited to, pre-commercial thinning, weed control, tree planting, and tree removal. The Division of Forestry and Fire Protection will designate the lands on which silviculture practices are to occur. Multiple contracts will be awarded from this ITB.
PRIOR EXPERIENCE
In order for a bid to be considered responsive the bidder must meet these minimum prior experience requirements:
- The bidder must not have had a contract terminated for cause by the State within the last three years.
- At least three years of experience in professional silviculture services in remote locations.
A bidder's failure to meet these minimum prior experience requirements will cause their bid to be considered non-responsive and rejected.
