Brief Description: The Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development, Division of Corporations, Business and Professional Licensing proposes to update regulations language for occupational license fees for the Board of Pharmacy to repeal the licensure fees for pharmacies located out of state and non-resident wholesale drug distributors.

The Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development (Department) proposes to adopt regulation changes in Title 12, Chapter 02 of the Alaska Administrative Code including the following:

12 AAC 02.310. Board of Pharmacy, is proposed to repeal the license fees for pharmacies located outside of the state and non-resident wholesale drug distributors, as these are no longer separate license types issues by the department. The repeal clarifies language for pharmacies and wholesale drug distributors from out of state looking for licensure.
