The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to extend Lease ADA-71425 (Lot 1D, Block 1), consisting of approximately 30,000 square feet, at Healy River Airport for an additional 5 years. Applicant: Warbelow’s Air Ventures, Inc. Annual rent: $4,320.00 and any other associated fees. Authorized uses: aeronautical – operation and maintenance of a terminal and office building and related fuel tanks for commercial air taxi operations; aircraft tiedown; storage of aviation fuel for Lessee’s use only; vehicle parking for employees and customers; installation of portable, self-contained toilets; parking of a portable trailer or motor home for occupancy only as seasonal crew quarters & only when the Lessee’s aircraft are present at the Healy River Airport.

This is an application filed under AS 02.15.090(c), which allows the Department to grant the proposed lease term extension without competition. Written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., December 16, 2024, after which the Department will determine whether or not to extend the lease.
