Scope of work:
The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment to remodel the 3rd floor of the Paul Building to accommodate the UAS Ketchikan Nursing Program. Mechanical, electrical, and IT upgrades and changes. New cabinets and countertops will be installed.
Additive Alternate Scope:
Alternate No. 1: Provide and install ceiling curtain track and curtains at Patient Room #1
Alternate No. 2: Provide mechanical and electrical connections for Owner-Provided stacked washer & dryer. Demo existing cabinets, install handwash sink, construct wall and door.
Alternate No. 3: Provide and install lockers in corridor.
Alternate No. 4: Provide and install integral cove base in Patient Room #2 in lieu of rubber base.
Alternate No. 5: Provide and install ceiling.

A pre-bid conference will be held October 30, 2024 at 2:30 PM, at the UAS Paul Building located at 2600 Seventh Ave, Ketchikan, AK 99901
All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond provided by a surety authorized to do business in the State of Alaska on a form provided herein, or a cashier’s check. Bid security must be in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the maximum amount of the bid.

Bidders must register through the web site to be notified of addenda. Bid documents are not available from the Architect or the Owner, but they may be obtained from most plan rooms and reprographic firms for a fee. Printed copies may be ordered from reprographic companies through the website or by contacting a reprographer directly.
Downloaded files may be printed on the plan holder’s equipment. Plan holders are responsible for their own reproduction costs.
