CONSTRUCTION INVITATION TO BIDS (ITB’s)

Sealed bids in single copy for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment, and performing all work on Project No. 0003244/SFHWY00186_A; HSIP KTN Stedman and Deermount Street Safety Improvement Re-Bid, described herein, will be received until 2:00 p.m. prevailing time November 12, 2024, at the Construction Contracts Office, 1st Floor, 6860 Glacier Highway, Juneau, Alaska.

This Federally funded project will consist of providing additional illumination at the Stedman/Deermont intersection to achieve a level of luminance that meets current DOT&PF standards. Construct a concrete sidewalk bulbout on the Stedman side of the marked crosswalk. The bulbout will extend from the existing sidewalk to the edge of the traveled way..

The Engineer's Estimate is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. All work shall be completed by November 30, 2025. This is a Race Neutral project as defined in Section 120 of the Specifications.

Bidding Documents are available for inspection at the office of the Regional Department of Transportation and Public Facilities offices in Anchorage, Fairbanks and Juneau.
