Brief Description of Proposed Project:
This project would improve the existing 40-60 ft. long Jim Lake portage trail, which provides access between Jim Lake and the wetlands system and adjoining lakes. Improvements would include removing the current system of PVC pipe rollers placed directly on bare ground and establishing a wood and metal walking surface held above ground by piers next to a roller carriage to enable users to portage their water craft without disrupting the ground itself.
