The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to lease Lot 1, Block 24, consisting of approximately 65,508 square feet (ADA-72832), at Gulkana Airport for 50 years. Applicant: National Park Service. Annual rent: $8,581.55 and any other associated fees. Authorized uses: aeronautical – construct and maintain a new building that would serve as hangars, offices, meeting rooms, and pilot lounge; helipad, parking area, aircraft tie-downs, and fuel tanks; septic system installation and backup power generation.

Competing applications or written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., October 21, 2024, after which the Department will determine whether or not to execute the lease. The Department’s decision will be sent only to persons who submit written comment or objection or a competing application to the Department, at the address and by the date and time specified in this notice, and include their return address.
