INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for Valdez Airport Snow Removal Equipment and Deicing Material Storage Building, Project Number AIP 3-02-0311-XXX-2024 / Z618600000, will be received before 2:00 p.m., August 30, 2024 at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This federally funded project will construct a new three-bay snow removal equipment building, including space for lighting controls, backup generators, and a new deicing material storage building at the Valdez Pioneer Field airport in Valdez, Alaska.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000. The Project substantial completion date will be April 30, 2026.

A non-mandatory pre-bid site visit will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday August 21, 2024 at the project location. Bidders intending to participate in this site visit are requested to notify the Project Manager at least 48 hours in advance.

Plans, Specs, Bid Packets and Addenda along with other additional information pertaining to the project may now be downloaded in their entirety at no charge from the Department’s approved online bidding service: https://www.bidx.com/ak/lettings. Bidding documents may also be purchased for $100.00 per set, payable to the State of Alaska, from the Central Region Plans Room, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:30 p.m. (907) 269-0408.
