INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for False Pass Airport Snow Removal Equipment Building, Program Number AIP 3-02-0097-005-2024 / SFAPT00416, will be received before 2:00 p.m., August 16, 2024 at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This federally funded project will demolish the existing single-bay snow removal equipment building (SREB), and construct one (1) new, standard size, heated, single-bay SREB on a concrete foundation to serve as warm storage. The new SREB will be built on the same site as the existing.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $1,000,000 and $2,500,000. The Project substantial completion date will be November 30, 2025.

A non-mandatory pre-bid site visit is tentatively scheduled for August 8, 2024 at the project location in False Pass, Alaska. Bidders intending to participate in this site visit must notify the Project Manager by close of business on Wednesday August 2, 2024.

Plans, Specs, Bid Packets and Addenda along with other additional information pertaining to the project may now be downloaded in their entirety at no charge from the Department’s approved online bidding service: https://www.bidx.com/ak/lettings.
