NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
YAK: Airport Security Fence, YAK: Gate Replacement and Locking Systems, YAK: Rehabilitate Trench Drains and Apron Pavement- Design and Support Services
RFP Number 25243027
The Department intends to enter into a negotiated agreement for professional services to solicit design and engineering services for the Z679770000 YAK Airport Security Fence, SFAPT00538 YAK Gate Replacement and Locking Systems, and SFAPT00518 YAK Rehabilitate Trench Drains and Apron Pavement. The consultant selected will provide professional engineering and support services for design, bidding assistance, and construction assistance for the subject projects.
A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package. Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is from September 15, 2024 to December 31, 2028. Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $1,000,000 or greater.
The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available July 18, 2024 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 6860 Glacier Highway, Juneau, AK 99801-7999. Persons residing outside the City & Borough of Juneau may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 465-4420. Walk-in and telephone service is available during the hours of 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms. Submittals must be received no later than August 08, 2024, 4:00 PM prevailing time. Please be advised that none of the courier services (Fed-EX, UPS, etc.) provide overnight service to or from Juneau. Please allow at least 2 to 3 business days for receipt of expedited packages. Every effort will be made by the Department to ensure that Contractors receive all addenda when issued. No protest will be allowed based on the offeror’s allegation that he did not receive all the addenda for a RFP.
