ADL 422194:  Notice of Intent to Amend Upland Mining Leases near Fairbanks, Alaska

The Alaska Department of Natural Resources, Division of Mining, Land & Water (DMLW) is giving notice that they have received a request to amend ADL 422194 by converting the following mining claims located on State of Alaska land into upland mining leases, under AS 38.05.205(a) and 11 AAC 86.305. 

Holder Joseph Young, 5688 Rig Road, Fairbanks, AK 99709 of ADLs 801838 and 801839 (Ester Creek 3 and 4), in Fairbanks Meridian, Township 001 South, Range 003 West Section 1 to add to Upland Mining Lease ADL 422194.

Mining lessees have the exclusive right of possession and extraction of locatable minerals subject to AS 38.05.185 - 38.05.275.  Leases are issued for the term it takes to mine and are renewable if necessary.  The lease will require mandatory rent and production royalty requirements.  Once the lease is issued, the lessee must obtain all required permits before exploration or mining can occur.
