On June 10, 2024, the Board of Massage Therapists adopted regulation changes in Title 12, Chapter 79 of the Alaska Administrative Code. The regulations concern updates dealing with clarification to license renewal continuing education requirements, grounds for disciplinary sanctions against licensees, and Internet advertising requirements.

The regulation changes were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Office of the Lieutenant Governor on June 26, 2024, and are effective on July 26, 2024. See attached copy of the filed version of the regulations.

The regulation changes will first appear in Register 251, October 2024 of the Alaska Administrative Code.
