PUBLIC NOTICE - PROPOSAL TO AMEND A BOUNDARY CROSSING & LAND USE PERMIT

AT FAIRBANKS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

In accordance with 17 AAC 42.400(a) – The following should be published: June 25, 2024 through July 24, 2024 (30-days) in the Alaska Online Public Notice System.

NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO SUPPLEMENT A BOUNDARY CROSSING & LAND USE PERMIT: The State of Alaska, Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), Fairbanks International Airport (Airport) proposes to extend the term of Boundary Crossing & Land Use Permit ADA-90558, as follows:  LESSEE: SRC LLC.  PREMISES: Block 10, Lot 5B, consisting of approximately 10,676 square feet.  LEASE TERM: Twenty (20) years, beginning June 16, 2005 and ending June 15, 2025.  CURRENT LEASE RENTAL RATE: The annual rent is $2,348.72.00 ($0.22 per square foot x 10,676 square feet) plus an annual boundary crossing fee of $1,240.00.  AUTHORIZED USES: Maintain a driveway for access to and from Airport Industrial Road to Permittee’s maintenance facility located on Permittee’s property adjacent to the Airport at this location.  PROPOSED TERM EXTENSION: Request for a five (5) year term extension, to expire June 15, 2030.

This is an application filed under AS 02.15.090(c), which allows the Department to grant the proposed lease term extension without competition.

The Department reserves the right to correct technical defects in the lease language, the premises’ description, lease term, or the purposes of the lease, when to do so is in the best interest of the Department.
