ITB: CPFAC00080 - Kalsin Bay Maintenance Station - Phase 2

INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for Kalsin Bay Maintenance Station - Phase 2, Program Number CPFAC00080, will be received before 2:00 p.m., July 12, 2024 at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This state funded contract includes miscellaneous upgrades required for full functionality of the Kalsin Bay Maintenance Station in Kodiak, Alaska. Work includes concrete apron replacement, building envelope upgrades, domestic water filtration, wastewater holding tank modifications, fuel tank relocation, and other mechanical and electrical upgrades. This contract includes one (1) additive alternate for installation of a new emergency generator system.

A non-mandatory pre-bid site visit will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 1, 2024 at the Kalsin Bay Maintenance Station located in Kodiak, AK. Those interested need to contact the project manager, Eric Hershey, at eric.hershey@alaska.gov or 907-269-5572 a minimum of 72 hours prior to the meeting to register for the site visit.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The Project completion date will be June 30, 2025.

Plans, Specs, Bid Packets and Addenda along with other additional information pertaining to the project may now be downloaded in their entirety at no charge from the Department’s approved online bidding service: https://www.bidx.com/ak/lettings. From the DOT&PF website: http://dot.alaska.gov/procurement/awp/awp-bids.cfm?rc=CR your company must self-register by clicking on the Plan Holders link, or register with the Central Region Plans Room, or your bid may not be accepted.

Bidding documents may also be purchased for $50.00 per set, payable to the State of Alaska, from the Central Region Plans Room, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:30 p.m. (907) 269-0408.
