Notice of Utility Tariff Filing
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Chugach Electric Association, Inc. (Chugach) filed TA435-121, proposing revisions designed to align its tariff for Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) No. 121 (North District) with its tariff for CPCN No. 8 (South District). Chugach is proposing to adopt Rule Nos. 8 through 12, service area maps and descriptions, and updates to the index from the South District tariff into the North District tariff. Chugach also proposes to remove Appendix A related to interconnection and operating requirements for non-utility generation up to 5,000 kVA and replace it with Appendix C, which addresses these requirements. Chugach proposes to add Appendix D and E, which address application for interconnection of electric power sources greater than 5 MWA to the power transmission grid and transmission and ancillary service agreements and related service requirements, respectively. Chugach also proposes to include a schedule of natural gas transaction confirmations and rules relating to loss factor updates.
