NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

RFP No. 25242052 – Sterling Safety Corridor Improvements MP 82.5 to 94 Progressive Design Build – Independent Cost Estimator Services 

The Department intends to enter into a negotiated agreement for Independent Cost Estimator (ICE) Services for the Sterling Safety Corridor Improvements MP 82.5 to 94 Progressive Design Build.  The ICE will be expected to provide the DOT&PF with timely cost estimates, estimating expertise and experience to assist in determining fair and reasonable costs for the project.  The Contractor shall have experience in cost estimating and scheduling for the construction of large highway projects.

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately August 2024 to September 2028.  Cost of these professional services is expected to be greater than $1,000,000.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available May 23, 2024 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 4111 Aviation Avenue in Anchorage, AK. Persons residing outside the Municipality may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 269-0408.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received no later than June 13, 2024, prior to 4:00 p.m. prevailing time.
