The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) proposes to issue an Owner Requested Limit approval (ORL) AQ1478ORL02 to Univar Solutions USA LLC for the Univar Solutions Anchorage Facility under Alaska Statute 46.14 and regulation 18 AAC 50.

Location: 590 E. 100th Ave. Anchorage, AK 99515
Activity: The applicant is revising the original ORL to allow changing of stocks without prior Division’s approval. This public notice is for the draft ORL only.
Emissions: The potential to emit at the stationary source will not exceed 9.97 tons of a single Hazardous Air Pollutant (HAP) by limiting throughput for existing tank products and new tank products to the quantities listed in the ORL. This limit will also keep other regulated air pollutants below the 10 tons of a single HAP or 25 tons of any combination of HAPs thresholds listed in 18 AAC 50.326.
ADEC Preliminary Review: Based on review of the application, ADEC has made a preliminary decision to approve the ORL for the Univar Solutions Anchorage Facility.

Opportunity for Public Participation: Any interested person may present written statements relevant to the draft documents, as long as they are received by the close of the public comment period. ADEC will consider all comments received and make any changes ADEC finds beneficial or necessary to assure compliance with 18 AAC 50 or state Law. ADEC will issue a final decision to issue or deny the ORL after the close of the public comment period. Any person may request a public hearing and that hearing will be held if ADEC finds that good cause exists.
