NOTICE OF EMERGENCY MEETING
The Commercial Fisheries Entry Commission (Commission) is holding an emergency meeting on May 22, 2024, in Juneau, Alaska at 3:30 p.m. via teleconference. The call-in number is: 1 (253) 205-0468, and the meeting ID is 85266417564#. This is a listen-in only meeting. No public comment or testimony will be taken.
The purpose of the meeting is to consider the adoption of emergency regulations under AS 44.62.250. The proposed amendment to Commission regulation 20 AAC 05.220(a) would allow the use of a dipnet under a set gillnet permit in the Cook Inlet and Yukon set gillnet fisheries as authorized by the Board of Fisheries.
