STATE OF ALASKA – DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION

Palmer AK Demo C&D Waste Monofill; Palmer, Alaska

The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) proposes to issue Solid Waste Disposal Permit No. SWZA004-29, to Alaska Demolition, LLC (AK Demo), to expand the active construction debris fill area within the existing Construction and Demolition (C&D) waste monofill.

Location: 555 E. Rebarchek Ave., Palmer, AK

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

AK Demo proposes a lateral expansion of the existing active construction debris fill area (also called Cell 2) into the exempt organic and inert debris fill area, within permitted facility boundaries.

ADEC is seeking comment regarding the proposed project only. Notice is given that any person interested may present written comments relevant to the proposed Permit to ADEC.
