NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
HSIP JNU Glacier Hwy. Nugget Safety Improvements- Egan to Loop Rd.- Design Services
RFP Number 25243047
The Department intends to solicit professional engineering design development services for the design of two mid-block RRFB crossings of Glacier Highway as well as converting the corridor from the intersection with Egan Drive to Jordan Avenue into a restricted U-turn facility. Professional services will include civil, traffic, and electrical engineering, and public involvement.
A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package. Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is from June 01, 2024 to December 31, 2025. Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $500,000- $1,000,000.
The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available April 18, 2024 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 6860 Glacier Highway, Juneau, AK 99801-7999. Persons residing outside the City & Borough of Juneau may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 465-1023. Walk-in and telephone service is available during the hours of 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms. Submittals must be received no later than May 09, 2024, 4:00 PM prevailing time. Please be advised that none of the courier services (Fed-EX, UPS, etc.) provide overnight service to or from Juneau. Please allow at least 2 to 3 business days for receipt of expedited packages. If you download a Request for Proposal (over $100,000) from this page, you must register with the respective regional plans room to be placed on the planholders list for that project and to receive subsequent addenda. Every effort will be made by the Department to ensure that Contractors receive all addenda when issued. Addenda may be issued by any reasonable method such as mail, telefacsimile, express delivery service, and electronic posting to this website. It is the Offeror’s responsibility to ensure that he has received all addenda affecting the RFP. No protest will be allowed based on the offeror’s allegation that he did not receive all the addenda for a RFP.
