Invitation to Bid (ITB) 2024-1000-0304 Snow Machines

ADDENDUM 1: Addendum 1 serves to make a change to the ITB. All other terms, and conditions of the ITB shall remain the same.

PURPOSE OF THE ITB: The Department of Natural Resources, Parks and Outdoor Recreation is soliciting bids for nine new snowmachines, which are essential for trail maintenance, safety patrols, and emergency response.

Specifications for these snow machines have been carefully selected for their reliability, fuel efficiency, noise, safety features, and purpose.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: In order for a bid to be considered responsive the bidder must meet these minimum requirements:

Five Skidoo Skandic SE 900 ACE Snowmobiles (preferably black in color):

  • 4-stroke engine,
  • At least 95 HP,
  • 154” x 24” x 1.5” track,
  • Pogo-style front shocks,
  • 1500# towing capacity,
  • Front bumper kit,
  • Auxiliary LED light,
  • Electronic winch kit,
  • Rear bumper kit,
  • J hitch,
  • Chainsaw holder,
  • Drawbar weld.

Three Skidoo Expedition Sport 900A Snowmobile (preferably black in color):

  • 4-stroke engine,
  • At least 95 HP,
  • 154” x 20” x 1.5” track,
  • Sport/utility,
  • full body skid plate.

One Skidoo Summit X 850 Snowmobile:

  • At least 165 HP,
  • 154” x 16” x 2.5” track.
  • Ski/snowboard kit,
  • Mountain/deep powder capable.

All items/accessories must be installed prior to delivery.

Freight
  • Freight must be included in bid.Units must be available for pickup within 50-miles of/or delivered to Chugach State Park headquarters office at 18620 Seward Hwy. Anchorage, Alaska 99516, and/or to 7278 E. Bogard Road, Wasilla, Alaska 99654, whichever location is least expensive.

A bidder's failure to meet these minimum prior experience requirements will cause their bid to be considered non-responsive and rejected.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you receive this solicitation from the State's Online Public Notice website you must register with the DNR Procurement Section to receive subsequent amendments. Registration must be in writing and may be made via email to shawn.olsen@alaska.gov. Failure to register with the DNR Procurement Section may result in rejection of your offer.
