CONSTRUCTION INVITATION TO BIDS (ITB’s)

Sealed bids in single copy for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment, and performing all work on Project No. 0003273/SFHWY00556; FFY24 Southeast District Highway Painting, described herein, will be received until 2:00 p.m. prevailing time May 07, 2024, at the Construction Contracts Office, 1st Floor, 6860 Glacier Highway, Juneau, Alaska.

This Federally funded project will consist of applying new paint and beads to all striping, symbols, crosswalks, and stop bars on state owned roads through out the Southeast  District. Any necessary training for State personnel, sweeping, flushing, and any other required pavement preparation where new paint is to be applied. Locations include Juneau, Ketchikan, Klawock, Petersburg, Wrangell, Yakutat. 83% of work is Non-NHS. 17% of work is NHS..

The Engineer's Estimate is between $1,000,000 and $2,500,000. All work shall be completed by September 15, 2024. This is a Race Neutral project as defined in Section 120 of the Specifications.

Bidding Documents are available for inspection at the office of the Regional Department of Transportation and Public Facilities offices in Anchorage, Fairbanks and Juneau.
