NOTICE OF PROPOSED CHANGES ON THE REGULATION OF
TELECOMMUNICATIONS CARRIERS IN THE REGULATIONS OF
THE REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA
The Regulatory Commission of Alaska (Commission) proposes in Docket No. R-24-001 to adopt regulation changes in Title 3 of the Alaska Administrative Code at chapters 47, 48, and 51-53. These changes address changes in the Commission’s enabling statutes resulting from Chapter 24 SLA 19, effective November 27, 2019, as interpreted by the Department of Law and deal with the regulation of certificated telecommunications carriers and establishment of intrastate access charges.
You may comment on the proposed regulation changes, including the potential costs to private persons of complying with the proposed changes, by submitting written comments to the Commission at 701 W 8th Ave, Ste 300, Anchorage, AK 99501. Additionally, the Commission will accept comments submitted to the Commission’s website at: http://rca.alaska.gov/RCAWeb/WhatsNew/PublicNoticesComments.aspx. Comments may also be submitted through the Alaska Online Public Notice System, by accessing this notice on the system and using the comment link. The comments must be received not later than 5 p.m. on May 28, 2024, and should reference Docket No. R-24-001.
