Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Southcentral Regional Land Office has received an application for the following:

APPLICANT: Steven Perrins dba The Perrins’ Rainy Pass Lodge

PROJECT NAME: LAS 34962

GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Located on the eastern portion of Kodiak Island on the state-owned uplands of Eagle Harbor within Ugak Bay.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: SE1/4NE1/4 Section 1, Township 32 South, Range 22 West, Seward Meridian

REQUESTED ACTIVITY: Applicant is requesting a land use permit for a year-round commercial recreation camp consisting of a 22-foot by 26-foot hard-sided cabin structure and a 3-foot by 3-foot outhouse to be used in support of big game guiding and other commercial recreation activities.

End: April 2029

The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity.
