Notice of Public Meeting

The State Vocational Rehabilitation Committee (SVRC) will be holding its next quarterly meeting via teleconference on May 14, 15, 16, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. each day. The SVRC is appointed by the Governor to provide oversight and to assist the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) in developing and evaluating the DVR program.

The SVRC will hear public testimony via the telephone on May 14 from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN PUBLIC TESTIMONY

1. SEND AN EMAIL with your testimony to dol.svrc@Alaska.gov. Your email should include your permission to read it aloud at the public meeting and be received by us by 5:00 p.m., May 13, 2024. 

2. CALL IN to the meeting on May 14, 2024, between 1:30 and 2:00 p.m. using the call-in information above. Each caller will have 3 minutes to speak their testimony. You may hear the meeting in session when you call. We will check the phone line periodically.

3. WRITE A LETTER with your testimony and include your permission to read it aloud at the public meeting. Mail your testimony with enough time to reach our office by 5:00 p.m., May 13, 2024, and address it to:

If we receive your testimony after the deadlines listed above, it will be read at a future SVRC quarterly public meeting.
