Alaska Commission on Aging - Quarterly Teleconference - Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias

Date: April 18
Time: 10am - Noon AKDT

The Alaska Commission on Aging is hosting their quarterly teleconference with subject matter experts and service providers.

This quarter's subject matter is Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias. The goal of this teleconference is to gather insights on the unique challenges and perspectives faced by providers across the State with the purpose of developing evidence-based recommendations to the Governor, the Legislature, and other advocacy groups.

After introductions and expert presentations, participants engage in regional breakout room on Zoom. These focused discussions aid in understanding unique regional challenges in delivering senior services.

Participants are encouraged to come prepared with a summary of the key challenges their region faces in providing ADRD services to seniors, especially considering any budget constraints and their impacts. The Commission will subsequently have representatives from each breakout room (Region) present their top concerns.
