NOTICE OF WATER RIGHT AMENDMENT
ADL 46041
Pursuant to AS 46.15 and 11 AAC 93.930, notice is hereby given that the Department of Natural Resources is proposing to amend water right certificate ADL 46041. This water right is for use as the public water supply at Kasigluk with a priority date of June 3, 1968.
The amendment proposes the following:
- Clarify that the water right is at Old Kasigluk.
- Add an additional wellsite in the same aquifer, Wellsite #2.
Per AS 46.15.133 (a), within 15 days of publication or service of notice, persons may file with the director written objections. Comments or objections must be made in writing to the above listed address or emailed to lesli.schick@alaska.gov by 5:00 p.m. April 5, 2024. Objections must include the objector’s name and address, and any facts tending to show that the rights of the objector or the public interest would be adversely affected by the proposed amendment to this existing appropriation.
