NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC AND REQUEST FOR INFORMATION
Johnson Tract Project Reclamation Plan Approval (A20243253RPA) – Development of Material Sites to Support Advanced Exploration of the JT Mineral Deposit.
The Alaska Department of Natural Resources has received a request to issue a Reclamation Plan Approval (A20243253RPA) for the Johnson Tract Project towards the development of infrastructure. JT Mining proposes to develop up to five material sites to construct a new airstrip, access road, and laydown pads to support advance exploration of the JT mineral deposit. The project is located in the Redoubt Mining District approximately 43 miles northwest of the community of Anchor Point.
This notice pertains to the Department’s review and adjudication of JT Mining’s Reclamation Plan. Reclamation must be completed pursuant to Alaska Statutes 27.19 (Reclamation) and the Alaska Administrative Code, Title 11 (Natural Resources) and Chapter 97 (Mining Reclamation).

REQUESTED ACTIVITY: JT Mining, Inc. is requesting approval for a new five-year authorization to develop up to five material sites to construct a new airstrip, access road, and laydown pads in support of an advanced exploration program. All proposed activities and reclamation are outlined in JT Mining’s Reclamation Plan and cost estimate (Attached).
