The University of Alaska Fairbanks, hereinafter called “University”, is requesting proposals from consulting firms for professional Architectural and Engineering Services for the University Park Nanook Child Care project located on the University of Alaska Fairbanks Troth Yeddha’ Campus, Fairbanks, Alaska.

Work consists of, but is not limited to providing professional services to develop programming and preliminary design through construction documents and construction administration for the renovation of the south wing of the University Park Building into a childcare facility.

RFP Availability: Request for Proposal documents for this project are available for viewing and downloading at the Bid Express website at https://www.bidexpress.com/businesses/43192/home. RFP documents may also be viewed by appointment only at the office of Division of Design and Construction, University of Alaska Fairbanks, 1850 Tanana Loop, Lola Tilly Building, Troth Yeddha’ Campus, Fairbanks, Alaska.

Offerors must register through the website to be notified of addenda.  The Offeror is responsible for periodically checking the site for addenda or additional information for the project.

Basis for Award: Proposals will be evaluated by a Selection Committee using the criteria outlined in Section C of the RFP. Pending the availability of funding, an Agreement will be awarded to the highest ranked, responsive, responsible Offeror whose Proposal conforms in all essential aspects to the solicitation requirements. The ranking will be based on the combined score of initial evaluation, interview rating and past performance surveys.

RFP Inquiries: Inquiries and questions relating to this RFP shall be directed to the Designated Contact in writing, and must include the project name and RFP number, no later than five (5) days prior to the deadline for Proposal submission.

Pre-Proposal Conference: A Pre-Proposal conference will not be held.

Deadline for Submission of Proposals: The Proposals must be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 16, 2024 to be considered.

Submission of Proposals:  Proposals must be submitted electronically on the Bid Express website as specified in the Instructions to Offerors. Offerors must create a profile with Bid Express in order to submit a Proposal. Proposals will only be accepted up to the deadline for submission of Proposals.
