Notice of Adopted Changes to the Regulations of the Big Game Commercial Services Board.

On November 15, 2023, the Big Game Commercial Services Board adopted, as an emergency regulation, changes in Title 12, Chapter 75 of the Alaska Administrative Code. The emergency regulations update the requirements for guides awarded special federal use of permits to conduct guided hunting in specific locations in Alaska and remove timing conflicts by allowing guides to obtain a Unique Verification Code in the first year of concession.

The emergency regulation took effect on November 27, 2023, and they expire on March 25, 2024 unless made permanent by the Board.

On February 6, 2024 the Board of Dental Examiners adopted the emergency regulation changes to be made permanent. The permanent regulation changes were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed, and filed by the Lieutenant Governor (or designee) on February 20, 2024. The new regulation changes will be printed in Register 249, April 2024 of the Alaska Administrative Code.
