The Department of Health, Division of Behavioral Health (DBH) is soliciting proposals from qualified offerors for Intentional Peer Support (IPS) training. Based on Shery Mead’s book, Intentional Peer Support: An Alternative Approach, IPS training is for peer professionals and provides new skills, the support for which goes beyond traditional notions of “service.” DBH seeks training on this evidence-based approach to add core foundational skills to the State’s peer workforce in social change and the mental health field.
