Brief Description: The Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development, Division of Corporations, Business and Professional Licensing (Department) proposes to adopt regulation changes in Title 12, Chapter 02 of the Alaska Administrative Code, dealing with occupational license fees for the Board of Public Accountancy to update language regarding firms, revise fees, and repeal the out-of-state practice privilege permit fees. These changes include:
- 12 AAC 02.340. Board of Public Accountancy, is proposed to be amended to update language relating to certified public accountancy firms, eliminate the out-of-state practice privilege permit fees, and update fee amounts.
You may comment on the proposed regulation changes, including the potential costs to private persons of complying with the proposed changes, by submitting written comments to Alison Osborne, Regulations Specialist, Division of Corporations, Business and Professional Licensing, P.O. The comments must be received not later than 4:30 p.m. on March 28, 2024. Comments received after this deadline will not be considered by the Department.
