FAI ADA-90971 LAND LEASE NOTICE

In accordance with 17 AAC 42.400(a) – The following should be published: February 15, 2024 through March 18, 2024 (30 days) in the Alaska Online Public Notice System.

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LAND LEASE: The State of Alaska, Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), Fairbanks International Airport (Airport) proposes to execute a Land Lease ADA-90971 as follows: LESSEE: Sivu Transportation LLC. PREMISES: Block 3, Lot 7, consisting of approximately 231,230 square feet. LEASE TERM: Fifty-five (55) years, beginning June 1, 2024 and ending May 31, 2079. CURRENT LEASE RENTAL RATE: The annual rent is $27,747.60 ($0.12 per square foot x 231,230 square feet). PROPOSED AUTHORIZED USES: Construction, maintenance, and operation of a new hangar; air ambulance and air charter operations; aircraft repair and maintenance; aircraft parking, hangaring and tie-down; office space and passenger lounge associated with the Authorized Uses and in support of an air ambulance and charter service.

The department reserves the right to correct technical defects, premises description, term, or purposes and may reject any or all applications or comments.
